The cuisine of Misiones offers the Brazilian Galeto, the northen "Locro" (meat, potato, and pepper dish), which includes pumpkin and mandioca, the "Guaraní Mbeyú", the fried cake, which contains mandioca corn flour with milk or water, salt and cheese.

Tourists can not leave this province without tasting not only the "Chipá" (bread or cake from Paraguay which is prepared with corn flour, milk, cheese, eggs, and salt), but also the soup from that country, another bread which contains white cornmeal, onions and cheese.

The "Rapadura" (sugar cane syrup cut in a small pieces of bread) is offered as dessert. When the climate is very hot, tourist are given a "Tereré"(cold maté with juice).

Mamon pie (cake made of eggs and cornstarch) and delicious homemadejam.

Fish: "Dorado" (roasted dorado) and "Surubí" (the Swordfish- large fresh water catfish), and large fresh water catfish made of roquefort.

Beaf cooked in different ways (oven and casserole).

All these foods are served with the excellent wine of Argentina.
